The Westmorland Inn, Bowness-on-Windermere

The hotel rooms could do with a refurb, but I would stay again. They were small but super clean and comfortable, which boosted my overall experience. The service was top-notch, specializing in different gins, and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The location was great, very close to the lake, making it our second visit to the hotel. However, the dining wasn't the best and there was an additional charge that was not made clear during booking. I appreciated the facilities, and the overall price and excellent location were satisfactory.

The hotel room was perfect with a sea view, but smaller than expected and the beds were quite small too. It was bright and airy, although the bathroom was tiny and lacked space to dry off after a shower. The overall size of the room was small, but it's understandable. The hotel's location was fantastic, right on the main street close to bars and restaurants. However, the room faced the main road which could be noisy at times.

Our stay at the hotel was cozy and convenient. The rooms, although a bit cramped for storage, were comfortable enough for our family. The service was top-notch, especially during our self-isolation period. The location was fantastic, close to shops and restaurants. Dining options were limited, but the fresh salads were a nice touch.
